Finally! Spring is Right Around the Corner!

We are beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel as the spring season is just around the corner and the birds are beginning to make their way back North after a pretty intense winter here in Northeast Ohio.

We would like to thank those that took advantage of our snowplow service during what has been one of harshest winters in recent memory. Here is some food for thought: The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is getting closer to breaking the record for salt usage in a single winter – one million tons! This has been a rare winter to say the least with 80% of the Great Lakes being covered with ice and all Northeast Ohio schools have had at least 6 snow days due to the frigid temperatures and heavy snowfall. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but experts are predicting the next 10 winters in our area to be relatively similar.

As the hours of daylight are getting longer and landscapes are beginning to reappear from the snowfall, we wanted to remind you of how Clutch can be of service to you.

Weather permitting, our agenda for the spring will be as follows:

• Late-March – Early-April: 1st application of Fertilizing program
• Mid-March – End of April: Spring Clean-ups & Mulching (mulch available all season)
• Mid-April: Begin weekly lawn maintenance

Your latest invoice should have included a return notice of your intent to continue your Clutch service(s) along with a listing of services you may wish to add. A Clutch representative will be in touch with you sometime in March to discuss this notice or answer any questions.

Thanks again for your support and for allowing us to come through in the Clutch for you!

Sincerely,

Aaron Frank & Paul Wolanin, Owners

Spring Clean-up Process:

Once the weather breaks in the spring, Clutch is ready to give your landscape a spring cleaning. The process includes:

1. Overall cleaning of flower beds and turf – removal of unwanted debris and old perennials.

2. Raking stone and salt debris deposited by city plows from tree lawns.

3. Raking snow mold from the lawn (most important)

4. Mulching (optional) – The “icing on the cake!” – Once the above is completed, let Clutch give your flower beds a fresh look for the season with only the highest quality mulch.

Any questions, please call 440-884-4001 or e-mail info@clutchlandscaping.com
