December 2014 — It's Been a Great Year!

As we come to the completion of our 15th year of business, we want to thank you for another great year and for allowing us to be of service to you.

For the second year in a row, we worked into December on our fall clean-up process. The weeks leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday were adventurous to say the least, with a healthy dose of snow. We had crews working around-the-clock whenever possible to tidy up landscapes.

For those areas needing any attention that we were unable to address this fall, we can certainly work on as part of our Spring Clean-up service in March/April of 2015.

We are already looking forward to the spring of 2015! Once the weather breaks, we are at your service, and it is typically mid March – early April…WEATHER PENDING! Fertilizer applications will begin at this time as well.  Be on the lookout for a notice in the mail or phone call from a Clutch representative in March of 2015!!!

The Spring Clean-up process includes:
Overall cleaning of beds and turf as well as removal of unwanted debris,
Raking away stone/salt debris left by city plows from your tree lawn,
Most importantly, raking away any snow mold from your lawn.

Have a Happy & Healthy Holiday Season and blessed New Year!

Sincerely,

Aaron Frank & Paul Wolanin, Owners

October 2014 — Leaves, Leaves and More Leaves!

Autumn is here…one of our favorite times of year with football, the beautiful fall colors and the holiday season just around the corner.

As the leaves begin to fall, we wanted to provide a friendly reminder of our fall clean-up process and available service. We will work as long as possible — possibly into December — to keep your property looking its best late into the year. Throughout the fall we will peck away at the leaves until we do a final sweep sometime around Thanksgiving to tidy everything up. It is important to get a majority of the leaves before heavy snowfalls during the winter, so they do not sit until the spring. As long as there isn’t heavy snowfall, we will be working hard to prepare your landscape for the winter months.

As we wind down the year, the shorter amount of daylight will have some effect on our schedule. Rest assured we are working 7 days a week and will get to your property as quickly as possible.

If you are still considering our snow removal, HURRY! Our book is filling quickly! Sign up now for snow removal services and Clutch will take care of the rest.

We appreciate your business and for allowing us to come through in the CLUTCH for you!

Sincerely,
Aaron Frank & Paul Wolanin, Owners

August 2014 — Cool Summer, We're Lovin' It!

We hope everyone is enjoying another cool summer so far. With the exception of a couple upper 80-degree days, the weather has been superb! The summer has been filled with beautiful blue skies and just about the perfect amount of rain!

The atmosphere in Cleveland is as exciting as it has been in a long time with the return of Lebron James, the presence of Johnny “Football” Manziel and of course our Boys of Summer…the Cleveland Indians! We are proud to be Clevelanders and our city is continuing to improve in every way, every day!

It never fails though —leave it to a local weather anchor to start the first chatter about the upcoming winter. They must be bored with the mid-70s, partly cloudy forecasts. A local weather anchor has said this winter could be more memorable than last winter. We say BRING IT ON! Sign up now for snow removal services and Clutch will take care of the rest.

Anyway, before the cold returns, there is plenty of time to enhance your landscape! The end of the summer is the best time for new plantings and of course new lawns! We did some amazing landscapes in August/September last year and made many people happy! Whether you want to get rid of those 20-year old overgrown shrubs and replace with new modern shrubs or you need a full-fledged design and install, give us a call and set up a consultation. Aaron is ready to design your very own custom landscape!

We appreciate your business and allowing us to come through in the CLUTCH for you!

Sincerely,
Aaron Frank & Paul Wolanin, Owners

June 2014 — Higher Temps = More Water!

It’s hard to believe we’re finally getting well into the spring with ideal temperatures and summer is only a couple weeks away! It has been a pleasure maintaining the landscape of your property so far this year. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we worked through some very soggy weather a couple weeks ago.

You may already be noticing your shrubs beginning to sprout and we are more than happy to address your shrub trimming needs.

Water, Water, Water!  Please keep this in mind as temperatures begin to heat up. Your lawn needs approximately one inch of water per week to remain nice and green.

We appreciate your business and allowing us to come through in the CLUTCH for you!

Sincerely,
Aaron Frank & Paul Wolanin, Owners

Lawn Tips:

• Green Grass - Remember for Spring ~ Add 2 tablespoons of Epsom salt to a gallon of water and spray your lawn for a lusher, greener lawn. Epsom salt is loaded with magnesium

• Best way to prevent weeds from taking over your lawn – Mow high to keep grass strong and shade out weed seedlings; mow frequently enough that you are cutting off no more than one-third of the grass height at each mowing; leave the clippings on the lawn to recycle their nutrients.
